Float & Set
Float & Set is a more traditional alternative to Dot & Dab, often preferred in kitchens and bathrooms or older buildings where plasterboard lined walls go against the grain of the properties character.
Using either sand and cement or a bagged backing plaster an even coat is applied to the block or brick work. Using feather edges the backing coat will then be ruled flat. After keying the surface and allowing sufficient setting time 2 skim coats are applied and finished to the usual high standards.
